Vibro to supply loads for Truck Test 2022

One of the most important facets of Truck Test – apart from the trucks and trailers – is the load. Ideally, it’s great if the trailers can all be packed with the same loads. This is now possible, thanks to the support of Vibro.

Vibro has been manufacturing and delivering concrete kerbs, paving, and bricks for use in domestic, industrial, and decorative applications within the construction industry for the past 24 years. The company has now agreed to provide all the Truck Test 2022 participants with bricks that will serve as their loads.

Pieter van Aardt, quarries manager at Vibro, says the company is delighted to be supporting Truck Test 2022. β€œAs one of South Africa’s leading manufacturers of concrete kerbs, paving, and bricks, we are always looking for opportunities to promote our brand to potential and existing customers in South Africa. Truck Test 2022 affords us just such an opportunity. Furthermore, we are a family-run business, and trucks are a big part of our production and distribution. So, we are very happy to be part of something that develops and advances trucking in South Africa.

β€œWe are very proud to be associated with this prestigious event – undoubtedly a highlight of 2022 for anyone involved in the world of trucking and transportation – and we wish all the participants the best of luck,” he says.

Truck Test 2022 takes place from May 31 to June 2 this year. As in numerous previous years, Truck Test 2022 will take place on the N3. Engen is the exclusive fuel sponsor for Truck Test, as it has been since day one, so the route starts, stops, overnights, and finishes at Engen facilities. The start and finish will be Engen Blockhouse 1 Stop North (near Meyerton, south of Johannesburg).

Virtually all of the major truck suppliers will participate in the event, and we are privileged to be working with some incredible companies yet again during Truck Test 2022:

  • As already mentioned, Engen will sponsor the fuel used on the test
  • Afrit is sponsoring trailers
  • Ctrack will sponsor the tracking devices
  • Vibro is sponsoring the loads
  • Specifications and results are being compiled by TruckScience
  • ADA is responsible for logistics

We would like to thank these companies profusely. It’s great to have these leading transport industry suppliers and a leading brick supplier join us at what will be THE transport event of 2022.
