Hino South Africa is set to pilot* an eco-friendly hybrid variant of the trusted Hino 300 into the South African market, aiming to advance hybrid energy mobility solutions in the country. With a limited introduction targeted at key customers, the Hino 300 Hybrid is being rolled out as part of the newly adopted New Energy Vehicle (NEV) strategy championed by parent company, Toyota South Africa Motors (TSAM).

Durable, safe, and now more sustainable than ever, the Hino 300 Hybrid features several notable upgrades. Offering enhanced fuel efficiency and significant reductions in both fuel consumption and exhaust emissions, it delivers a cleaner driving experience while upholding the performance and reliability that Hino customers have come to expect. Combining a petrol engine with a battery-powered electric motor, the Hino 300 Hybrid provides the dependable performance fleet operators rely on.

In addition to its cutting-edge hybrid technology, the Hino 300 Hybrid is fitted with a range of advanced safety systems and improved in-cab features, standard across the Hino 300 range. Safety elements such as Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), a multi-function display, and auto-adjusting drum brakes are designed to ensure maximum driver and load protection, allowing operators to focus confidently on their business.
