Sinotruk showcases innovation at Canton Fair

From upgraded truck tractors to cutting-edge electric models, Sinotrukโ€™s presence at the 138th Canton Fair offered visitors a clear look at its growing technological ambition and capability.

The 138th Canton Fair, held from 15 to 19 October at the Pazhou Complex in Guangzhou, offered an important opportunity for global buyers to assess emerging trends in commercial vehicles (CVs). Sinotruk took full advantage of this platform, presenting its products across three dedicated exhibition areas: the outdoor auto exhibition area, the indoor auto fittings exhibition area and the new-energy vehicles & smart mobility exhibition area. This extensive presence allowed visitors to explore the brandโ€™s range from multiple angles, spanning finished vehicles, key assemblies and component technologies.

Upgraded HOWO TX draws interest outdoors

In the outdoor section, the HOWO TX 6×4 truck tractor made its first appearance at the Canton Fair, quickly becoming one of Sinotrukโ€™s focal points. The model features a comprehensively upgraded interior designed with driver comfort in mind. Improvements include a forward visual field optimised by 1.5m, an integrated hand valve positioned within the instrument panel and a refined humanโ€“machine control system. Together, these updates create a more ergonomic and user-friendly operating space. Light-duty vehicles such as the Vanguard V and the BOLDEN pickup were also displayed, highlighting Sinotrukโ€™s ability to meet varied commercial transport needs.

C3 battery light-duty truck highlights new-energy progress

The new-energy vehicles & smart mobility exhibition area hosted one of Sinotrukโ€™s standout unveilings: the C3 battery light-duty truck. It uses electric drive axle technology to enhance power transmission efficiency by reducing mechanical losses. Paired with a high-power permanent magnet synchronous motor delivering 140kW of power and 420Nm of torque, the C3 aims to deliver a balance of driving range, energy efficiency and operational reliability. Its presence underlined both the companyโ€™s and the industryโ€™s growing focus on electric commercial mobility.

Original fittings strengthen aftersales confidence

Indoors, Sinotruk showcased an extensive array of original fittings, including engines, axles, gearboxes, filters, lamps and tyres. Maintenance essentials such as lubricants were also featured. Staff combined product displays with technical explanations, helping visitors understand the advantages of using original components, particularly in terms of fit accuracy, durability and aftersales support. This element of the exhibition reinforced Sinotrukโ€™s commitment to reliable long-term service, a priority for fleet operators across global markets.

Commitment to continuous innovation

By presenting a broad product matrix and a number of new technological developments, Sinotruk used the 138th Canton Fair to reinforce its position in the CV sector. The companyโ€™s showcase attracted substantial interest from both domestic and international buyers, strengthening relationships and opening avenues for deeper cooperation. Looking ahead, Sinotruk states that it will continue to uphold its principle of innovation-driven development, striving to deliver improved products and services to customers worldwide.
