Iveco’s Drive & Swing Golf Day unites transport titans

Iveco’s Drive & Swing Golf Day took place earlier this month at the Serengeti Golf Course in Johannesburg. By all accounts it was a massive success!

Around 200 transport operators, Iveco dealers, and members of the media joined the Iveco team for a brilliant day of golf and networking. The weather played ball, much to the delight of the seasoned golfers. Non-golfers were also part of the day, with around 15 aspirant players undergoing expert tuition.

FOCUS editorial director Charleen Clarke was presented with a special award by the Iveco team, thanking her for her contribution to trucking in South Africa. “I was truly honoured and genuinely surprised to receive this award from the Iveco team. It is a privilege to contribute to the trucking industry in South Africa, and I have always considered it simply part of my job. To be recognised in this way is deeply appreciated, but the credit really belongs to the incredible people I have had the opportunity to work alongside. My sincere thanks to Iveco for this recognition,” she says.

During the event, FOCUS editorial director Charleen Clarke was presented with a special award by the Iveco team, in recognition of her contribution to trucking in South Africa. She is pictured here with the award and Martin Liebenberg, managing director of Iveco SA.
