Hino SA boosts customer service – again!

No stranger to pushing the boundaries of customer satisfaction, Hino South Africa has notched up a full-house of category-leading results in the Data Track Comparative Customer Satisfaction Monitor (CCSM).

Hino came out top in the 2018 fourth-quarter results in terms of overall ranking (99,35 percent), as well as topping the categories for sales (99,80 percent), service (99,40 percent), and parts (98,86 percent).

The national average combined score was 94,18 percent.

“This latest achievement was the cherry on the top for us in 2018, as Hino also came out top in the commercial vehicle section of the 2018 Dealer Satisfaction Index, which allows dealers to rate their manufacturers or distributors. It is conducted annually by the National Automobile Dealers’ Association (NADA),” says Ernie Trautmann, vice president of Hino South Africa.

Data Track has been conducting these independent, quarterly customer experience interviews with fleet operators continuously since 1989. The results are used by the local transport industry as key indicators regarding the levels of customers service in sales, parts, technical service and overall by the manufacturers and importers of trucks in South Africa.
