Hino is simply the best!

Hino South Africa is officially simply the best! Why do we say this? Well, the company has not only continued its dominance in the combined score for the comparative customer experience survey by DataTrack, it’s also come first in the three evaluation categories – sales, service, and parts supply – for the third quarter of 2023!

The combined score of 99.21 is one of the highest ever achieved by Hino in South Africa. Hino came out on top in the sales segment study in the third quarter with a score of 99.76. It also topped service scores with 99.34 and was number one in the parts survey, achieving an incredible score of 98.51.

The DataTrack Comparative Truck Study is a quarterly survey and arguably one of the longest running customer experience evaluations in the commercial vehicle market, having been conducted for the first time in 1989. The results are compiled based on feedback from more than 30,000 truck fleet operators regarding OEM service levels for sales, service, and parts.

DataTrack adjusts the methodology of the survey on an ongoing basis to ensure market relevance, ensuring the survey remains a credible benchmark for the local truck industry.

Another accolade also recently came the way of Hino South Africa for its 500 Series, which won the Heavy Commercial Vehicle of the Year title at the annual naamsa Accelerator Awards ceremony.

β€œWe are always pleased to receive positive feedback regarding the operations of our head office staff in Sandton and the countrywide dealer network. On this occasion, we have not only received positive feedback from DataTrack once again, but have also won laurels in naamsa’s Accelerator Awards, which were distributed for the second year,” says Anton Falck, vice president of Hino SA.

β€œThese achievements are further proof of the value of Hino’s global strategy of Total Support, which involves ongoing interaction between all parties involved: from Hino in Japan to Hino SA, our dealers and service providers, and our customers. We all have one aim and that is to ensure a positive ownership experience,” he adds.

Congrats to the entire Hino team!
