Forland Global Partners Conference 2026 kicks off in grand style

On 12 November 2025, Chinatruck.org reported that Forland officially opened its 2026 Global Partners Conference in China.

Partners from across five continents gathered to discuss the future of the commercial vehicle sector and explore new opportunities for collaboration, green innovation and sustainable development.

A global commercial vehicle industry entering a new green era

The global commercial vehicle market is undergoing a profound shift towards low-carbon, intelligent and electrified mobility. According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM), Chinaโ€™s commercial vehicle exports have ranked among the highest in the world for five consecutive years, while new-energy commercial vehicles account for more than 18% of the global market in 2025.

Amid this transformation, Chinese manufacturers are accelerating their global strategies โ€“ and Forland remains at the forefront of this momentum.

26 years of growth: From โ€œMade in Chinaโ€ to โ€œMade for the Worldโ€

Over the past 26 years, Forland has evolved into a trusted global brand serving more than 6.8 million users worldwide. Founded in 1996, the company rapidly became a sales leader in China. In 2008, it began expanding into overseas markets, bringing Chinese commercial vehicle manufacturing to customers around the world.

Today, Forland offers a broad product portfolio including electric, hybrid and hydrogen-powered vehicles, reflecting its shift from scale-driven growth to innovation-led development.

In 2024, the company established its Global Business Division, accelerating its transition from a traditional exporter to a fully integrated global operator.

Driving global growth through technology and brand strength

Forland now provides a comprehensive range of commercial vehicles โ€“ spanning vans, mini trucks, light trucks and construction vehicles โ€“ tailored to diverse logistics and transport needs.

The company continues to invest heavily in new-energy technologies, autonomous driving and low-altitude logistics, while building an international supply chain and digital marketing system to strengthen its overseas footprint.

According to Forlandโ€™s development roadmap:

2025โ€“2027: Strengthen overseas R&D and localised operations
2028โ€“2030: Become a leading global light commercial vehicle brand, serving more than 150 countries and regions, reaching 10 million users worldwide and achieving annual revenue of 40 billion yuan

To support this vision, Forland has introduced its refreshed brand slogan โ€“ โ€œForland, For You!โ€ โ€“ reflecting five core brand values: Fast, Forever, Fantastic, Freedom and Future, representing its commitment to agility, durability, quality, user-friendliness and forward-thinking innovation.

A three-step globalisation strategy

At the conference, Dong Yongsheng, General Manager of the Forland International Division, outlined the companyโ€™s overseas achievements and its Three-Step Globalisation Strategy:

  1. Foundation: Build a strong trade base through vehicle and CKD exports
  2. Localisation: Support local manufacturing and marketing to reinforce regional operations
  3. Deep Integration: Establish local R&D, service, finance and production systems to create a complete overseas ecosystem

To advance this strategy, Forland will expand its product range, invest further in R&D โ€“ including heavy trucks, autonomous driving and intelligent mobility โ€“ and deepen cooperation across its global supply chain to drive shared success.

New products and global collaboration

During the event, Forland unveiled two new models for international markets โ€“ the L7 automatic transmission truck and the U7 series โ€“ alongside its latest autonomous driving technology.

The L7, developed using millions of kilometres of global road data, has been upgraded across seven dimensions: intelligence, power, safety, fuel efficiency, comfort, load capacity and service โ€“ providing enhanced solutions for logistics operators worldwide.

The U7 series, built on an advanced skateboard chassis, is the first van in the industry to feature cross-domain control VICU technology, integrating power and thermal management for improved efficiency and flexibility.

Forland also presented its new-energy development strategy, signed partnership agreements with international collaborators, and recognised outstanding overseas dealers for their achievements.

Building a greener future together

From โ€œMade in Chinaโ€ to โ€œCreated with the Worldโ€, Forland is working alongside global partners to build a cleaner, smarter and more connected logistics ecosystem.

With nearly three decades of expertise and a forward-looking approach, Forland remains committed to promoting green mobility, empowering its partners and driving sustainable global growth โ€“ delivering innovation, progress and collaboration to markets around the world.
