IVECO S-Way and Scuderia Ferrari: Making F1 magic

Iveco has delivered two Iveco S-Way heavy trucks to Scuderia Ferrari. The two trucks will join the fleet of Iveco vehicles supplied to Scuderia Ferrari, and will be used for the transport of the Formula 1 team’s cars and equipment to the world championship racetracks.

As official partner of Scuderia Ferrari and official sponsor of Ferrari Challenge Europe, Iveco has delivered two Iveco S-Way trucks in a ceremony at the iconic Ferrari track in Fiorano. The delivery was made in the presence of Luca Sra, president, Truck Business Unit, Iveco Group, and Laurent Mekies, Scuderia Ferrari racing director – head of track area.

Sra noted that Iveco is very proud to have its brand linked to the world sporting legend. “For the past 20 years, we have worked with Ferrari, which has entrusted our high-performance and reliable vehicles with the logistics and handling of its most important assets. We share similar values and ambitions, the passion and competitive spirit needed to perform at the highest level,” he said. “Just like the Scuderia Ferrari, we are driven by a fighting passion to strive for excellence, constantly pushing the boundaries of what is possible to raise the bar on our performance day after day, always aiming for the top.”

The two Iveco S-Way heavy trucks feature a special livery in the exclusive shade typical of Formula 1 team vehicles. They extend the Iveco fleet supplied to Scuderia Ferrari, and will be used for the transport of the team’s F1 cars and equipment to world championship racetracks around the globe.

The Iveco S-Way trucks supplied to Scuderia Ferrari are truck tractors perfectly suited to the Maranello team motorhome. They are equipped with a 570-hp Cursor 13 engine, a 12-gear HI-TRONIX automated gearbox, and fully automatic suspensions. They feature an advanced infotainment system with satellite navigation, Iveco Driver Pal, and a 4G connectivity box.
