Fleetboard now standard on the Mercedes-Benz Truck range

The Fleetboard telematics solution is now offered as a serial standard on the Actros range and selected Arocs models effective 1 January 2021. The market-leading telematics system boasts multiple benefits for Mercedes-Benz Truck customers, such as performance analysis and reports for vehicles and drivers, mapping and trip records, including accurate fuel consumption and maintenance management, as well as expert training and analysis.

Fleetboard Performance Analysis

With their individual driving styles, your drivers influence wear and tear, fuel consumption and accident risk. You can use the Fleetboard Performance Analysis as a starting point to make your fleet safer and more economical, with a fair grading system for your drivers.

If Fleetboard is implemented effectively, the benefit is a reduction in fuel consumption of up to 15% in the day-to-day operations of the fleet.

Fleetboard Performance Analysis encourages a wear-minimising driving style and helps to reduce costs associated with maintenance and repairs.

Mapping and Trip Records

While operational, surprises are bound to occur, and you must be able to react in a flexible manner. 

The best way to do that is to know the positions of your vehicles, routes and the status of your tours. Stay informed as to where and in which situation your vehicles are with the Mapping and Trip Records services.

Mapping specifies vehicle positions and tracking information. In addition, this service provides details on the odometer reading, vehicle status and speed.

Trip Records provide detailed information on drive and stop times, fuel level and position data.

Truck Data Center

The on-board computer for all Fleetboard services is the Truck Data Center, the core component of the networked truck. As a smart connectivity module, it continuously checks the status of the vehicle systems and transfers data in real time.
